Automations in myflow help you engage with your audience efficiently by sending timely emails or SMS messages based on specific triggers. Follow these steps to set up your automation:
Step 1: Create a new automation
Navigate to the Automations section in left side menu
Click on “Create new”.
Give your automation a descriptive name to easily identify its purpose later on.
Step 2: Choose uour audience
Select the audience for your automation by including or excluding specific tags.
Use Include tags to target specific contact groups.
Use Exclude tags to omit contacts who shouldn't receive this automation.
Step 3: Select delivery type
Choose how you'd like to reach your audience: Email or SMS.
Ensure you have the necessary permissions and contact information for your selected delivery method.
Step 4: Set a delay for the automation
Decide when the automation should be sent after a contact meets the trigger conditions.
Specify the delay in hours (e.g., send 24 hours after the trigger event).
Step 5: Create your content with the block-builder
Use myflow's intuitive block-builder to design your message.
Add and customize content blocks such as text, images, buttons, and more to craft your message.
Preview your content to ensure it looks great on all devices.
Step 6: Summarize Your Automation Settings
Before activating, review the following:
Send Rule Type: Confirm the trigger that initiates the automation.
Selected Tags: Ensure the correct audience is targeted.
Delivery Method: Verify whether it's set to Email or SMS.
Send Preview: Send a test message to yourself to check formatting and content.
Step 7: Activate Your Automation
Once you're happy with everything, set the schedule for when you'd like the automation to start running.
Your automation is now live and will run based on the conditions you've set.
