Can I use more than one brand color in myflow?

How the brand color under Settings > Appearance & Language works, and how to save extra colors to reuse in the page builder, newsletters and your app.

Use this article to understand the one brand color you set in myflow, to save more colors (such as a second brand color) so you can reuse them, and to find where page background colors are set.

Can I use more than one brand color in myflow?

You can use as many colors as you like in myflow, but only one of them is your company's brand color. The brand color is set under Settings > Appearance & Language and is used as the default color for elements such as buttons and icons.

Every other color, such as a second brand color for calls to action, you save to your color palette and pick from there whenever you choose a color.

💡 Tip: If you use two brand colors, set the one you want on most of your buttons as the brand color, and save the other one to your color palette.

What does the color under Settings > Appearance & Language control?

The Branding section under Settings > Appearance & Language has two colors:

  • Background color — your brand color. myflow uses it as the default color for elements such as buttons and icons.

  • Text color — the color of text shown on top of your brand color, such as the text on a button.

There is one brand color per company in myflow. The Background color in this section doesn't set the background of your pages. Page backgrounds are set in the page builder, see the last section.

How do I save a color so I can reuse it?

To save a color to your color palette in myflow:

  1. Open any color picker that shows your color palette below it, for example a button color or a row background color in the page builder.

  2. Choose the color in the picker, or paste its HEX code (the six-character color code that starts with #, such as #F28C28).

  3. Click the + square below the picker. The square has a border in the color you chose.

The color is now saved in your color palette and shows as a small square below every color picker that has the palette.

Where can I use my saved colors?

Your saved colors in myflow show below the color pickers in:

  • the page builder, including row and column colors, buttons and text colors,

  • newsletters,

  • your app's design settings,

  • your website theme and Settings > Appearance & Language.

To use a saved color, click its square below the color picker. The color is applied straight away.

Saved colors belong to your company account, not to one user. Everyone who works in your myflow account sees the same saved colors.

How do I remove a saved color?

To remove a color from your color palette in myflow, hover over the saved color below any color picker and click the red − that appears in its corner. The color is removed from your color palette everywhere. Elements that already use the color keep it.

Where do I change the background color of my pages?

Page background colors in myflow are set in the page builder, row by row, not under Settings > Appearance & Language. Click the gear icon on a row, and choose a color under Background color in the menu on the right. Your saved colors show below the color picker there too.

To put a color over a background image instead, see How to add a color overlay to a row in the page builder.
