Channels are where the activity happens inside a community. Each channel is its own space for posts — you can create standard discussion channels or tracker channels that prompt members to post daily wins or progress updates.
Add a new channel
Go to User Area > Community > Communities in the left sidebar.
Click the community you want to add a channel to.
Make sure the Channels tab is selected.
Click Add channel.
Choose a Channel type — Standard channel, Track daily wins, or Track progress.
Enter a Channel name.
Enter a Description (optional).
Choose a visibility: Private, Badge, or Everyone.
Click Save.
Your channel now appears in the community's channel list.
Channel types explained
Standard channel — a normal posting and discussion channel.
Track daily wins — a channel designed for members to share wins. Includes extra Questions and Reminders tabs.
Track progress — a channel designed for ongoing progress updates. Also includes Questions and Reminders tabs.
Visibility options
Private — each member can only see their own posts.
Badge — visibility is controlled by a badge that the member has been given by you.
Everyone — everyone in the channel can see all posts.
Advanced settings
The channel panel also lets you:
Add information and instructions — add extra context members see at the top of the channel.
Allow posting from / through — set a start and end date for when posts can be made.
Only admins can write posts — toggle this on to restrict posting to admins only. Members can still read.
Configure trackers (Track daily wins & Track progress)
Tracker channels have two extra tabs at the top of the panel:
Click the Questions tab. Use Add question to write your own, or Import questions to reuse a set.
Click the Reminders tab.
Set the time under Send daily reminder at (UTC Timezone).
Toggle each weekday on or off. Mon–Fri are on by default, Sat–Sun are off.
Edit or archive a channel
Edit — click Edit next to the channel name to open the full channel settings page.
Archive — click the ⋮ (more) icon next to the channel, then Archive channel.
💡 Note: The channel type is set when the channel is created and can't be changed afterwards.
