Use this article to decide how long buyers keep access to the courses, communities and coaching sessions they buy through a myflow payment method, to understand what happens to access when a subscription is cancelled, to see when a buyer's access ends, and to give access back.
How do I choose how long buyers keep access?
You choose how long buyers keep access in the myflow payment method, with the Access to included products setting:
Go to Toolbox > Payments and open the payment method, or click New Payment method.
Open the Settings tab.
Under Instalments, choose Single payment or Monthly instalments.
Under Access to included products, choose Lifetime access or Limited time.
If you chose Limited time, enter the Access period in days, from 1 to 3650.
Click Update payment method (or Create payment method for a new one).
Below the Access period field, myflow shows when access would end for someone who buys today, for example "Bought today, access ends on November 8, 2026." The summary of the payment method shows the access as well, for example Access: 30 days.
What is the difference between Lifetime access and Limited time?
The two options of the Access to included products setting in a myflow payment method work like this:
Lifetime access is the default. Buyers keep access to the courses, communities and coaching sessions in the payment method with no end date.
Limited time gives access for the number of days in Access period. The period starts on the purchase date. When it ends, myflow removes the buyer's access to the courses, communities and coaching sessions in that payment method.
The access period is not the same as Valid from / Valid through on the Advanced tab. Those dates decide when people can buy through the payment method, not how long buyers keep access.
How long does access last with a subscription (Recurring payments)?
For a myflow payment method with Recurring payments, the Access to included products setting isn't shown. Buyers keep access to the included courses, communities and coaching sessions for as long as the subscription runs.
What happens to access when a subscription is cancelled?
When a myflow subscription (a payment method with Recurring payments) is cancelled, the buyer keeps access until the end of the period they have already paid for. After that, myflow removes their access to the courses, communities and coaching sessions the subscription gave them.
If a subscription is cancelled directly in Stripe instead of in myflow, the buyer keeps access for 7 days after the last paid period ends.
Where do I see when a buyer's access ends?
You see when a buyer's access ends on the order in myflow:
Go to Toolbox > Payments > Orders.
Click the order to open it.
Below the products, the order shows Access ends on and the date. Orders with Lifetime access and subscriptions that are still running don't show an end date.
Buyers see the end date too. In their user area, a course with limited access shows Access until and the date.
How do I give a buyer access again?
You give a buyer access to a course again on their contact card in myflow:
Go to Contacts and open the contact.
Open the Licenses & memberships tab.
Under Revoked licenses, click Restore license next to the course.
You see License restored, and the course moves back to the contact's active licenses. The buyer's progress in the course is kept, so they continue where they left off.
To give a contact access to a course they never had, click Assign license on the same tab, choose the course in the Content list and click Assign license.
