Learn how to create a news feed, add posts, and manage your feed settings in myflow.

Updated today

A news feed lets you share updates, articles, and announcements with your users in a timeline-style format. Each post in the feed is a page you build with the Page builder, so you can include text, images, video, and more.

Create a new news feed

  1. Go to User Area > Content in the left sidebar.

  2. Click the News feeds tab at the top.

  3. Click New content in the top right corner.

  4. Select New news feed from the dropdown.

  5. Enter a Title for your news feed

  6. Toggle Requires license on or off depending on whether you want to restrict access. When off, anyone can access the feed — but you still control where it's displayed.

  7. Add a Description if you want.

  8. Click Save.

Your news feed is created and ready for posts.

Add posts to your news feed

  1. Click the Posts tab.

  2. Click Add post in the bottom right corner.

  3. Enter a title for the post.

  4. Build your post content using the Page builder

  5. Click Save inside the Page builder, then Exit to return to the news feed.

Each post shows its creation date automatically. Repeat for every update you want to publish.

Manage posts

Each post in the list has three action icons:

  • Three-dot menu — Delete and preview the post

  • Gear icon — open post settings.

  • Edit icon (pencil) — open the post in the Page builder.

Other news feed tabs

Besides General and Posts, each news feed also has:

  • Users — see which users have access to the news feed.

You can also click Create payment method at the top to set up access links for users who need to pay or be invited.

You're all set — your news feed is ready to keep your users up to date.
